Who We Are
Radiant church started in Fairbanks in 2007. The plan was never to see Radiant become a brand. Rather, we wanted to invite others into our family who desired the same vision, language, culture, and values. We have since grown to become five churches across the state of Alaska.
Our vision at Radiant Church is to be a Radiant Reflection of the Gospel to our cities and throughout the North by being Gospel Communities who multiply disciples and churches. We want to see Gospel saturation across the north.
What We Believe
We believe that who God is and what He has done defines who we are and how we live.
Core Beliefs
Along with our commitment to The Lausanne Covenant Statement of Faith, Radiant Church holds to five core theological emphases:
The Gospel of Jesus Christ is central for our motivation and practice.
God acts sovereignly in saving sinners.
The continuing presence of the Holy Spirit equips and empowers the saints.
God created men and women as equal and complementary image bearers of God.
All believers are sent on Jesus’ mission to make disciples.
Gospel Communities
Gospel communities, commonly referred to as GC’s, are the primary way we connect with each other and live our lives around the gospel on mission. This is our way of being the church outside of our Sunday gatherings.
GC's are smaller (10-20 people) groups within Radiant Church who see themselves as a community (Family) that lives out the mission of God together (Missionaries) in a specific area or to a particular people group by demonstrating the gospel in tangible forms (Servants) and declaring the gospel to others-both those who believe it and those being exposed to it (Disciples).
Each group gathers together regularly to live out the gospel in the everyday rhythms of life. They celebrate together, bless each other, eat together, recreate, listen to each other and live out of the story of God together. Gospel Communities are the means through which Radiant mobilizes people together on mission and connects people to a caring community.

Acts 29
Radiant Church is part of the Acts 29 network. Acts 29 is a global community of healthy, multiplying churches. They offer church leaders decades of experience-proven training, guidance, and tools for planting churches designed to grow and thrive. The call to make disciples is answered most effectively through gospel-centered churches.
